City of Hialeah Fleet Fueling Station

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
SRS services included the preparation of several conceptual site plan layouts for approval by the City. Preparation of construction documents for construction of a new fleet fueling station including replacing existing asphalt and concrete pavements, drainage systems, new fuel management systems, new video security systems, new electrical, fueling pumps, dispensers, underground fuel lines and appurtenances, attendant’s booth with power, A/C and data, replacement of existing underground fuel tank, and replacing the existing canopy. Other services included contracting and coordinating all topographical surveys and geotechnical investigations; and all permitting including City of Hialeah Building Department, DERM, and FIRE. Construction Phase services included attending construction meetings, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFI’s, providing periodic construction observations, and preparing close-out documents.
Miami-Dade County Various Fire Rescue Stations
Location: Miami-Dade County

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
SRS prepared the site civil engineering design plans and specifications for the construction of four new fire rescue stations for Miami-Dade County. Services rendered included the design of site utilities (water, fire and sewer), parking area paving and grading, site grading, and drainage plans. Work included preparation of ERP permits for wetlands and DERM coastal permits SRS also coordinated with local regulatory agencies to obtain approvals on utility connections, prepared and submitted plans and applications for “dry-run” and final review by regulatory agencies, and attended project meetings and pre-design field site visits. Construction Phase services included weekly construction meetings, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFI’s, providing periodic construction observations, and preparing close-out documents. Stations included: Homestead Fire Rescue Station No. 16. Doral North Fire Rescue Station No. 69. Model Cities Fire Rescue Station No. 2. Sunny Isles Beach Fire Rescue Station No. 10.
Miami Springs Gymnasium and Community Center

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Design build project consisting of new 37,851 SF gymnasium building with adjacent 107-car parking lot. SRS provided design on site utilities including 12” water main extension, site paving, grading and drainage, and permitting, also provided construction phase services.
